Dear Brother, Major General Amir Hatami
Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army
At a time when our beloved homeland is passing through one of the most decisive periods of its historical trajectory, and when the intelligent and resolute role of the Armed Forces is more evident than ever in safeguarding national interests and preserving the country’s stability and security, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to you and to all the devoted commanders, personnel, and soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of the 29th of Farvardin, the Army Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This day provides a valuable opportunity to pay tribute to the courage, selflessness, and dedication of the brave sons of this nation in the four branches of the proud Army, who, shoulder to shoulder with other branches of the Armed Forces, have spared no effort in defending the sovereignty of Islamic Iran.
The security and power of the country are the outcome of a steadfast will, sincere intent, and the perseverance of heroic men who have most admirably fulfilled the duty of safeguarding the borders and protecting national interests. Undoubtedly, the present-day strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the international arena, as well as the achievements of its diplomatic apparatus in safeguarding national interests, owe much to the tireless efforts and sacrifices of the selfless members of the Armed Forces.
My colleagues and I at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while commemorating the valor of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army in confronting aggressors throughout various periods—particularly in recent decisive battles—reaffirm our firm determination to continue cooperation, synergy, and coordination with the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
With profound respect for the exalted martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, I pray to Almighty and Merciful God for the victory and prosperity of the Iranian nation, the Armed Forces, and the diplomatic corps.
