Hon. Ali Sabry Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Expresses Sympathy to the Iranian Government and Nation

Hon. Ali Sabry, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, attended the Residence of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ambassador in Colombo and met with the embassy member. Hon. Ali Sabry signed the Book of Condolence, commemorating the memory of Dr. Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the late President, and Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the late Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing his condolences to the Iranian government and people.

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Sri Lanka, a delegation led by Hon. Ali Sabry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied by Hon. Marjan Faleel, attended the funeral ceremony of the Martyrs of the air crash, which was held in Tehran.

On behalf of the  President of Sri Lanka, the delegation delivered the condolence message to Dr. Mohammad Mokhber Acting President, addressed to Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader.
