H.E. Dr Pezeshkian congratulates Hon Anura Dissanayake on Sri Lanka's Independence Day

Hon. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, conveyed his congratulations to the President, the Government,and the people of Sri Lanka through an official message, emphasizing the importance of further expanding bilateral relations and cooperation.

His Excellency Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake

Esteemed President of the

Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka

I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to Your Excellency, and  the people of Sri Lanka on the occasion of the advent of your country’s Independence Day.

I hope that, under the determination of the officials of our two countries, bilateral relations and cooperation in all fields of mutual interest will continue to expand for the benefit of our two nations.

I pray to Almighty God for Your Excellency’s good health and success, and for the well-being and prosperity of the esteemed people of Sri Lanka.
