Colombo Welcomes the Iranian Navy Warship Shahid Naqdi and the Valiant Naval Officers of Iran

On 27 November 2025 on the eve of the Navy Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we are honoured to host valiant naval officers of the proud Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the warship Shahid Naqdi in Colombo.

These seafaring heroes represent the guardians of our nation’s independence and territorial integrity, and they carry a message of peace and friendship to friendly and peace-loving nations, including the culturally rich people of Sri Lanka.
