On Friday, 17 July 2026, I met with Ms. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, the new Secretary-General of the Colombo Plan, at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo. I wished Ms. Chartsuwan success in her work at the Colombo Plan Secretariat and emphasized the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as an active member of the Colombo Plan, to expand cooperation.
