On Wednesday, July 1st, coinciding with The Day of Cultural Diplomacy and Engagement with the World, according to the Iranian Calendar, I met with Mr. K. Kunarasa, Chief Editor of the Special Weekly Edition(Vaaramanjari) of the state-owned Thinakaran newspaper, and his accompanying delegation. We exchanged views on regional developments and expanding media and cultural cooperation. During the meeting, I emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran remains steadfast and powerful in defending its sovereign territory. Concurrently, respecting diplomacy—conditional upon the commitment of the negotiating parties—remains a core principle of foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
