The Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST), with the support of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, has announced the call for submissions to the 40th International Khwarizmi Festival, one of the Islamic Republic of Iran's most prestigious scientific and technological events.
Researchers, scientists, innovators, inventors, knowledge-based companies, research and development (R&D) centers, as well as Iranian scholars residing abroad and distinguished researchers of other nationalities, are invited to submit their outstanding achievements.
The Festival welcomes submissions in the fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Emerging Technologies, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, and Health. Entries may be submitted under the categories of fundamental research, applied research, technological development, inventions, and innovation.
A Special Award will be presented to projects with significant national impact in the fields of Water and Energy. In addition, the country's Outstanding Research and Development Unit will be recognized, while selected projects—particularly those with commercialization potential—will receive dedicated support.
